Title: Change image shape with Scripter
Post by: rguimera on June 06, 2022, 02:32:25 pm
Hello,

Is there a way to change the shape of an ImageFrame with the scripter? I've been stuck with this for a while, and haven't found any relevant information on this.

Thanks!

Yes its possible ....

https://python.hotexamples.com/examples/scribus/-/setScaleImageToFrame/python-setscaleimagetoframe-function-examples.html

And then I use the scripter command setScaleFrameToImage

This two steps are necessary to keep the ratio of the image and to adopt the frame exact to the scaled down image

Health and Peace

Thanks for your answer, Erhard. I should have specified better---what I need is to make an image round, for example, as opposed to rectangular. From the link you posted, I wasn't able to see how to do that.
