Title: Menus missing
Post by: danilius on May 26, 2014, 02:29:35 PM
I installed scribus-trunk but when it started there were no menus. I'm on Ubuntu 14.04, using KDM if that makes a difference.

Is there any way of getting the menus back?

I have the same problem. No menus. I run cinnamon as desktop.

hi

http://bugs.scribus.net/view.php?id=12370

you can try to remove appmenu-qt5 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/appmenu-qt5/+bug/1307619 [^]) and your problem might be solved.
no idea why.

Thanks

"sudo apt-get remove appmenu-qt5" and the menu is back in Scribus 1.5 (trunk) :-)
