Title: Re-open saved files, all images are "gone". What gives?
Post by: navguy12 on November 08, 2014, 07:44:49 PM
Hi all, another newbie question here.

I re-opened a file from yesterday and to my surprise....every image now only shows as a red box, with a big red "X" and with the file number of the missing image at the center of the "X".

The PDF that I made of the file (also yesterday) shows the photo images as they should be, so short of me having to delete each image file and re-enter it.....what gives?

"No settings" have been changed since yesterday.....

PS:  I wish I could show a screen shot, but I can't seem to import a screen shot into this field.

Thanks

Cheers

Mike

hi mike

did you move the images or the .sla file in your file system? – in this case scribus wouldn't find the images...
