Title: Creation of a catalgue
Post by: Sunnypad66 on September 30, 2011, 06:52:48 PM
I prepare with scribus a catalogue.
I have finished a template and have given each textframe a specific name, also the pictures.

Now I serch for a python script which can import a xml or text file.
The script have to recognize the tags and replace the text in the textframe with the text from the the file.
The same with the pictures.

I look for a solution which scan all tags in the scribus and search inside of the text. So i can use the same text file for different issues. ( catalogue, datasheet, tenderdescriptions, ....)

Someone who have a idea  ??

There was a discussion just the other day about a useful "merge script". I'm not sure if it was here in the forum or on the mailing list, but I think it was on the mailing list.
