Title: Better way to reduce a pdf
Post by: spaventapasseri on March 10, 2011, 06:30:10 AM
Hi folks,
just a few questions.
With a old Scribus version( 1.3.3.11, I guess)
I used to resize the pdf with Ghostscript, but sometimes I didn` t have a clue, and thought, what`s going on??  :)

What about now with the new version??? Any suggestion about new script?Or is always better and faster Ghostscript?

I`m running Linux Ubuntu
Scribus version 1.3.3.13

Thanks to all

Scribus 1.4.0rcx is indeed more featureful, less buggy (we hope), and better performing then anything in the 1.3.3.x series. Moreover, the 1.3.3.x series is not getting any more updates or bug fixes. I would strongly suggest to update to the newer version. We provide Ubuntu packages for several releases. See the exhaustive list at http://wiki.scribus.net/canvas/Ubuntu (http://wiki.scribus.net/canvas/Ubuntu)

Thanks to all

hi bhishma

today you wrote four posts to the scribus forum. none of them adds useful information to the thread – what's your main target?
