Post by: RodneyLee on April 30, 2018, 02:13:12 PM
Scribus 1.4.7 and 1.5.4 released

The Scribus Team is pleased to announce the release of Scribus 1.4.7 and 1.5.4. Scribus 1.4.7 is almost exclusively...
a bugfixing and update release and will be the last iteration of the Scribus 1.4.x line. All future development efforts will go into the upcoming new stable version 1.6.x.

The complete changelog for 1.4.7 is available here.

Scribus 1.5.4 is in many ways a new milestone on our way to the next officially stable release 1.6.0.

Scribus 1.5.5 released

The Scribus Team is pleased to announce the release of the development version 1.5.5. Unlike previous versions of 1.5.x, changes in this version have taken place mostly under the hood and include a large refactoring effort to make the code easier to read, easier to maintain and to increase speed. In addition, many bugs have been fixed, the most noticeable ones being related to the new text engine and its handling of complex scripts.
