Title: page number problem
Post by: gms9810 on May 31, 2016, 03:10:51 AM
OK, I knew I'd have to ask questions, this one is the first. It aggravates me because I know how to do this but apparently forgot. My scenario:
I'm making a booklet for a friend, I need page numbers, which I have. He needs a cover and obviously we don't want a number on it so how do I set the document up so that numbering stats on the second page, skipping the first page/cover? I keep thinking that it's done in the attributes section.
I'm using V1.5.1

If you just want the page to be without page number, don't put a page number on it. If the page number is on a Master Page, use another Master Page for pages that are not to have page number.

If you want to adjust the numbers, this is in the Sections setup in the document preferences.

I did that but what should be page one is page 2. Sorry, I might not have explained it well.
