Title: Snap to bleeds
Post by: AdmFubar on June 17, 2023, 09:01:56 PM
From what I've tried, there doesn't seem to be a way to this. Or am I missing and option somewhere?
If it isnt an option then I'd think this is something that should be added.

hi admfubar

i just tried it in scribus 1.5.8 and 1.7.0.svn. if 'snap to guides' is active, normal snapping works. (when dragging an object or one of its handles...) but there is no way to use the bleed by the auto snapping when creating an object while the 'shift' key is pressed.

It seemed like there wasnt a way to do this. Would be a nice convenience to have. I would think it would be easy enough to implement as the bleed is a guide, just one not recognized for snapping to.
