Title: pages show a 1px red line in Acrobat Reader
Post by: harinezumi on April 11, 2020, 05:33:38 PM
Hi,
I'm paginating a pdf made of scanned images (pages of an old book). The outputted pdf shows a thin red frame on each page on Acrobat Reader DC, in Okular looks good.
What is it?
Can I get rid of it?
Thank you

in the settings you can tell acrobat reader to show or hide the .pdf boxes. (afaik the red line is the end format of the page...)

Thank you very much. Can I avoid to even put them in the pdf?

no, you can't – as what you 'put in the .pdf' is just the information of the page size...
...but lots of users won't see them according to their standard reader settings.
