Title: What's the meaning of "with leading at 104 points"?
Post by: yichuang驿窗 on November 27, 2019, 02:44:51 PM
I'm learning the tutorial here:
https://wiki.scribus.net/canvas/Get_Started_With_Scribus:7#Hanging_Drop_Cap

In the section of "Hanging Drop Cap", has the following description:
QuoteUncheck 'Flow text around frame' for this. Using either the Story Editor or the Edit Contents tool, enter the letter 'D' in this text frame. In Properties, set this to Georgia Roman, 87 point, with leading at 104 points.

I can not understand the meaning of "with leading at 104 points", does it mean nothing else?

i guess it's the line height...

btw, in 1.5. you can have the drop caps as text formatting...

I would rather say line spacing, not line height.

Thank you, a.l.e and Nermander.

From you tips: line height and line spacing, I confirm that I already understand the meaning of the original text.
