Title: re: Barcode creation within Scribus
Post by: FugueViz94 on January 25, 2021, 11:09:30 AM
Hi I am designing a dustjacket in scribus — the printers in Europe require a 100%

black barcode(black only with no CMY present even if the values are set to 0)

They have told me to use the barcode creation function in Scribus.

My question is — where is the tool to create a barcode?

I am using scribus v1.5.6. windows

Hi utnik

I have looked at the insert drop down menu but there is no option for barcode.

Hi FugueViz94,

The only way that I can see to create the black the company is asking for is to use a spot color if they do not want any CMY represented in the color black. I would ask them if this is what they are requiring.

Cheers!
