Title: 30 pages from Open Office into Scribus?
Post by: Wena on August 29, 2011, 07:06:38 PM
I have 30 A4 pages in open office which I want to make up A5 pages in Scribus 1.3.3.14. I have attempted to pure it all into a "Story Editor" after highlighting a text box (frame). In the first pace when making my master page I asked for 50 pages. And coping the text box into each page, when I ticked the green arrow in story editing I only got one page.

How then do I get the rest of the text into the other 49 pages?

hello wena

if you import the text into linked frames, all the text should appear.

You write that you copied the text frame to each page? Did you link the frames?

Thank you, all of you.

I am a beginner with this software, no I did not link them together, but found out how to do that with trial and error.

Now, I am learning other aspects of the application, as a 72 year old it takes a long time but I will get there.
