Title: Add Flourish to text from another file
Post by: Yajee on July 30, 2021, 01:51:50 PM
Hello folks,

Just started using Scribus today so apologies for the newbie questions. I have some files with things like flourishes in them, the files are in .eps and .ai formats. Like in the image shown, how do I get just one of those flourishes like the one with the square around it into my document?

Using Scribus on Mac.

Thanks.

File > Import > Get Vector File

The resource gets imported as a single group - if you have multiple flourishes they will be imported as a single group. You have to ungroup to select individual items .. and sometimes that means regrouping the items you want.

Thanks Rob, if I were to single out one of the flourishes in say Affinity Designer or Inkscape or something, what is the best format to save it in to then import it into Scribus?
