Hi, how can I get back the resize/zoom etc toolbars at the bottom, thanks. Somehow they just turned off. (Linux)

dunno
maybe try switching the Theme a few times and see if it reloads
also, check to see if the window is maximized or the bottom part is stuck out of view

on linux, what window manager are you using, enlightenment can be a little funky with scribus or anything else for that matter

Would need to see a screen shot to truly understand what it looks like. the "it turned off" is a perplexing descriptions for something that cannot be turned off. it is most likely obscured by a panel at the bottom of your screen. (i'm thinking KDE here) were you changing any of the settings for the panel? There is an option in KDE panels for windows to go below the panel, I suspect this as the cause.

ooohh post 300, cake for everyone!! ;)
