Title: Changing element colours (1.5.4)
Post by: IDN101 on May 09, 2018, 11:24:41 PM
In 1.5.4 when I go to Preferences > Display,

The only colour I can change is the top one- for Page Fill. I can click on the bar and up comes the colour picker.

Every other element (eg Unlocked Frames, Locked Frames, etc)- clicking on the bar does nothing- ie it does not bring up the colour picker.

Anything I am doing wrong?

Many thanks

should work – try it without an open document...

Spot on! It only works with no open document

Just for my own info: Why would it be programmed to do this? Why can't we change the colours when a document is open?

Many thanks

FYI: in InDesign some preferences can be save specifically to a document when it is open and will not reset any global preferences that are set when all documents are closed... not sure if this is where the programming will be going on Scribus or not (shrug) just giving an idea as to why.
