Title: Newbie Silly Question
Post by: quarkrad on October 18, 2016, 11:09:44 AM
Apologies for ridiculous question but googleing and reading wiki has not helped - changing font size. I am running 1.4.6 and have a single word in a text box.  Via right click I launch the edit text  box - at this point I highlight the text, change the font style, click on the green tick/save, the edit text window closes and the font style has changed.  With the same procedure I can change the colour of the font.  However, when I highlight the text in the Edit Text window and click on the font size arrow the highlight disappears over the text.  I cannot change the font size.  Any help appreciated.

Sorry - just worked it out.  You have to give the text a Style!

don't use the edit box. just double click on the text frame to edi the text.

and open the "properties" palette through the "window" menu... there is a very useful text tab in there :-)
