Title: weird page settings
Post by: marto1971 on July 29, 2014, 03:53:43 PM
HI

i have a 32 page a5 magazine type document that i edit everytime i want to use it and the texts are always positioned according to my measures in the properties box, Left pages x=13, y=19.75 width = 125 and height is 180 (all MM) and right pages x=12.75, y=14.5, w=125 h=180.

however this time its not playing all as i try and position the text box in the right place the setting as listed above aren't working and the text box is positioned across four pages and i don't know why.  see attached images for examples of how it looks now

hi marto

the basepoint of your text frame is in the center of the frame. if you check the upper left circle of the basepoint selector, your standard values for x- and y-position should work again...
