Last post by Casiosudd - November 17, 2024, 09:08:50 PMI have been using Scribus for several years and saved PDFs hundreds of times every year, and cannot remember that this has happened before.
When choosing File-Export-Save as PDF nothing happens.
Same (no) reaction when clicking "Save as PDF"-button.
Save as image and save page as svg is working.
I haven't made any (known) changes in computer settings or similar, but auto-updates might have been done.
Any ideas why?

Last post by shrimp - November 17, 2024, 12:08:34 PMI basically want that my letter "hang from the baslinegrid". At my uni where they teach us inDesign they told that we should use this setting. This way is easier to align texts that have bigger fonts sizes.
Is this possible in scribus? I have been searching for a while now but couldn't find anything.

We have recently completed a few projects using Scribus and developed a custom plugin with Python. We're passionate about expanding our expertise and connecting with more clients who use Scribus. However, we're finding it a bit challenging to identify where Scribus-related projects are typically posted or sourced.
If anyone has experience or insights on where to find clients or projects involving Scribus (specific sites, freelance platforms, or communities), we'd greatly appreciate your advice. We're also interested in hearing how others have marketed their Scribus skills and connected with clients looking for custom solutions or plugin development.

in that case it won't change its size, no.
i just tested the sizeObject() function on my local Scribus and it did work as expected.
if reading this does not help, you might need to define a bit better what "it does not work" means...
