Let's use this thread to collect possible topics for a workshop at the Libre Graphics Meeting 2025 in Nuremberg. More infos about it here:
https://www.libregraphicsmeeting.org/2025/

@a.l.e suggested the following topics:
  • fixing the floating palettes for tiling window managers
  • how to make the popup in the colors selection ready for release (i think that there is not much missing there)
  • how to publish a documentation that can (easily) be maintained by multiple contributors
    • Porting and translating "Initiation à Scribus" by Cédric Gémy
    • factsheet / factsheet extended (with todos)
    • targetting epub?
    • having a nice "template" for the covers (in a similar way to the O'Reilly's animals)
    [/llist]
  • tables (establishing a long term plan (what should be supported?) and how to get there in big or small steps)

I would like to add another topic for discussion:

I guess that all those topics are a bit much for a single workshop : - )

Personally, I will be in Nuremberg for the whole LGM (arriving on Wednesday after lunch and (a bit sadly) leaving just before the closing session on Saturday late afternoon.

Depending who will be joining and when, we can arrange multiple sessions of about an hour.
We might also be able to have people participate from home...

I will be there for the whole time too.
Perhaps I will miss the opening and closing round because of my train connections.

First, we can pick the topic that requires a "sit together".
The window manager issues sound like such a topic.
