Development environment setup

Hi,
Is there any documentation that will walk me through the steps of setting up a development environment for Scribus on Ubuntu (from source to a Qt build)?
Thanks.

hi
this is a short howto i've written for possible candidates to this years GSOC:
http://www.graphicslab.org/Blog/Warming-up-for-GSOC-2012
it will tell you how to get the code and compile with gcc.
here
http://wiki.scribus.net/canvas/QtCreator_-_workflow_for_Scribus_and_Git_repository_under_Linux
cezary explained how he works with QtCreator and Scribus
and, finally, here is an older article of mine, explaining how to work with QtCreator and Scribus
http://www.graphicslab.org/Blog/Scribus-debugging
if you have any comments on those howtos for further questions, please post them here or on the mailing list!
and, out of curiosity, what kind of development do you want to do?
ciao
