Cache image initialization issue

I've been using Scribus 1.6.2 on Windows 11 for a few months without any problem.
When I launched 2 instances of Scribus almost at the same time, the program froze.
I tried to remove it using Windows Task Manager, but without success.
I rebooted Winbdows 11 and relaunched Scribus, but it froze in the image cache initalization phase.
I reinstalled Scribus but it still hangs at startup in the image cache initialization phase (even without loading any .sla file)
