[SOLVED] More table border issues...this time, one single cell

Hi folks. I posted a few days ago about how to create a table with no borders (https://forums.scribus.net/index.php/topic,5348.0.html) and it was established that it may not be possible for larger tables, but for smaller ones it is (if I misinterpreted this wrong, sorry). So, I proceeded with a large table, accepting the borders, but upon proofreading today I found that for some mysterious reason, one of the cells has a thicker border.

I've looked around with my Beginner's Eye and can't find any reason for this.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as this book is going to press soon and I can't have a formatting anomaly like this in print. Thanks!

I've had some trouble with this too.
One thing I have found that helped me was clicking in the cell I wanted to change then drag select to the left or whatever then carefully drag back to just the one cell I want to change so it's the only cell selected. Then I can usually dittle with the boarders in the Table Properties dialog.

i downloaded your file, opened it with scribus1.6.2, selected all the table cells, went to the 'table properties' selected the '1 pt solid line' and defined its color as 'none'.
all the table borders disappeared. (i didn't care about the 2 pt line around the 'cancer' cell...)

Hmm. When I try that, the border options are greyed out. But apparently we have a solution...

I was playing with the table options just now, and discovered there are two separate options to formatting the lines of a table in  1.6.1. One it to do the outside only. i.e. the top, bottom, left and right borders of the table. The other is to do the insides of the table, i.e the table cells.

However niether work correctly. (at least as far af 1.6.1) as when changing the outer borders only the top and left of the table are changed. You have select the cells in the table to change the rest, the cell boarders and the right and bottom boarders.. I'm about to head out the door, for a family get together as it is a holiday here. Will show more detail when i return.
