space between linked text frames

Hi,

I have a document with several text frames that are linked.  They are different sizes and shapes and I'm having trouble getting the right spacing between the text that flows through them.

The problem is that I get a different size space between the text frames as I have between lines of text that are in the same frame.

For example:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit.
Ut a sapien. Aliquam aliquet purus molestie dolor.
========================================
Integer quis eros ut erat posuere dictum.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

So the top box has line spacing of 6 px for example. I need to get that same space in between the last line of the first box and the first line of the second box.

I hope that makes sense, I know its kind of hard to explain but hopefully simple to do!

Thanks in advance for your help.

hi aljmet,

you should align the text to the baseline...

have a look in the scribus help (F1) in the chapter "working with text".

If I don't recall wrong there also is a separate setting for "first line offset".

But I have never seen the need to have two linked frames next after eachother on the same page. If they for example are there only because of different width, make one frame the full width and add an empty frame on top of it that the text will flow around (the same way you make text flow around an image).
