Use of wildcards in Scribus' Story Editor

I just can't find anything on the use of wildcards in Scribus' Story Editor... not even a reference to that keyword!  Is it possible that this editor does not support wildcards (which would truly make it unique in a negative sense)...?
Please provide advise and a way to use them (for instance using "*" to refer to any word within quotation marks)... and please make your answer as simple as possible as I'm a newbie using Scribus.
Thanks in advance...!

do you mean that you cannot use the * in the "search and replace"?

then, no, i don't think you can use a * there to signify any character or word.

Thanks for the prompt answer, a.l.e... and yes, the asterisk and the other usual wildcards don't seem to work.
So... are there no wildcards in the Story Editor, or do you know some other way to represent groups of similar words?
Thanks in advance...
