How do I fit a frame to an image?

I have a 'standard' way of working with images that I use in a few applications.  Generally, I like to import an image, fit a frame to it, then lock its aspect ratio, and then I can simply move and resize the frame to get my image where I want it.

Is this work-flow possible in Scribus?  If so, how?  If I am simply trying to work in a way Scribus was not meant to work, I'd appreciate a few tips for doing what I want.

My main concern with almost all images, is locking the width/height ratio so I don't distort it.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Kind wishes - Patrick

drag on drop does frame to image size, crtl key locks aspect while sizing, also in image properties, you can lock aspect, and right-clicking on image gives a menu
frame to image and image to frame

Wow! Easy when you know how! The right-click option to fit the frame followed by CTRL to lock aspect were the two bits I was missing.

Thank you!
