Can't create "Style Templates" in 1.4.0rc1

I have started using Scribus. I am using 1.4.0rc1. How can I define "Style Templates" (german: Stilvorlagen) for texts??? (definitions for font, size, etc.)

I already searched the web for tutorials. Those are saying: Go to the "Story Editor" In the menu bar there is an entry "Define Style Templates" (german: Bearbeiten > Stilvorlagen bearbeiten... - I apologize - my english translation is probably not correct) But I don't have such an entry.

If I click on "No style", there is no entry "Define new style...", as well.
There is only "No style" and "Default Paragraph Style" - but no chance to create a new one.

Is this a known bug in the RC1?
Or did I do something wrong?
How can I get to this entry?

Many thanks in advance

I found a solution - or at least a workaround.
If I hit F3 I get to the "Style Editor".
There I am able to define my styles...
That's good and solves my problem.

Some tutorials are saying that you can (or should) do this in the story editor.
But this is no longer the case. In the sytle selection option menu there is no "New" or "Edit" anymore.

So long...

You are correct. Those tutorials are outdated. Style handling has changed between 1.3.3.x and 1.3.x series. I'm glad you found the right way to do it.
