Current svn source not building

Hello All,
This could be a local problem, as I have recently upgraded my system from Fedora 20 to Fedora 21 and may have something out of kilter.
Attempting to build the current source (Current svn revision is 19758) I get the following error...

Linking CXX executable scribus
/usr/bin/ld: CMakeFiles/scribus.dir/fparser.cpp.o: undefined reference to symbol 'fmod@@GLIBC_2.2.5'
/usr/lib64/libm.so.6: error adding symbols: DSO missing from command line
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
scribus/CMakeFiles/scribus.dir/build.make:20905: recipe for target 'scribus/scribus' failed

Anyone else seeing this error? Is it my problem, and if so what?

Cheers,
Terry

Still getting this problem with svn revision 19768.
All the info I can glean about problems similar to this is that it seems to be related to where -lm is placed.
Where exactly that might be is a mystery thus far, and wonder if cmake is meant to take care of all this.
I am running cmake-3.0.2-2.fc21.x86_64.
I would appreciate advice on this.

Cheers,
Terry

Not having any response here I have tried to post a bug report, but can't register.
It would seem that the process is broken, always throwing an error "session variable 'captcha_key' not found".
I tried with a couple of browsers with no luck at all.
I think I went through this issue many moons ago, so the problem has returned, or never fixed?
It seems no one reads these posts and one can't post to the bug list!
What does one do to get problems sorted?

Cheers,
Terry

hi tduell,

are you compiling in a fresh directory?

if you're compiling "out of source" (that is in a specific directory and not mixing the compiled files with the source ones), you should remove and recreate the build directory before launching cmake.

to me, it looks like a library version mismatch...

re-downloading scribus might also be a try a worth...

Yes, that's the process I use.

Thanks for that suggestion.
I just set up a new local repository and it built OK.

I think it would be helpful if one was able to post bug reports to the bug list.

well, yes, everybody is supposed to be able to submit bug reports (and register).

i've submitted your complaint to the bug tracker:

http://bugs.scribus.net/view.php?id=12900

Thanks for reporting the registration problem, but I just tried to register and still get the same response!

hi terry,

reporting a bug, does not magically solve it :-(

somebody will have to look at the problem, find out why it does not work and fix it!
i have no rights to do that.

I understand that, but the bug report had an entry that said the problem had been fixed. If I hadn't seen that I wouldn't have said anything.

I did report that I was now able to build OK.
The reference to the bug report and still having problems was related to not being able to register on the bug site.

Apologies, tduell.
Can you check to see if the bugtracker is still giving you the same issue?

No problem.

I have been able to register, so that problem has been fixed.
