Title: wierd word splitting

Hi. I am using Scribus to make local news. All gone well. Thanks for that. But now...
What to do. Text have nothing spesial or anything. Deth line 8.3.

as i remember, there was (or is) a bug report about this issue.
unfortunately i neither find the report, nor can i reproduce the text flow problem.

it could be something about character heights. if your setting under 'properties' → 'text' → 'first line offset' is 'maximum ascent', try 'font ascent' – and hope it works…

…otherwise ask again…

As far as I can tell it is - as utnik says - a character height issue and the fix given is all we have so far.
Try temporarily putting an "h" in between the "e" and "s" and see what happens.
