Title: Applying bold to text
Post by: barneyuk on September 19, 2012, 05:01:45 PM
Hi all,

I have had Scribus 1.4.1on my Mac for a day so perhaps this is just me, but can you tell me how I highlight a piece of text and change it to bold instead of regular within the programme.

You can't.

Bold and italics in Scribus depends on the font, you will have to change font for that text to a bold version of the font you are using.

But there are fonts that have "Bold" Italics, italics, and bold separately when you have these all you need do change from regular and chose. I have attached an example.
