Title: Create Own Shapes and make them available via Shape Tool
Post by: wdfgea on March 14, 2014, 10:17:16 AM
Is there a way of extending the given shapes with the shape tool. I know, I can create my own shapes in gimp or inkscape but I am curios if it is possible to make it more comfortable by using the Shape Tool and choosing my own created and installed shapes.

thanks

To create your own shape you can draw an existing one that's close to what you want and use the shape editing tools - Properties/Shape/Edit.. - to alter it as you need.

You can then add it to a scrapbook - menu "Windows -> Scrapbook" - then drag it over to the page when needed. And with a scrapbook you're not limited to simple shapes, you can put anything you want in there.
