Title: Problems with TOC
Post by: jpek-m on May 31, 2015, 09:23:47 PM
I have created a Table of Contents using the steps of http://wiki.scribus.net/canvas/Creating_a_Table_of_Contents .

After making changes in my large document there seems to appear some entries which I can't find any source variable in my text boxes. There is a title which I have changed to another form (in addition to the new one) and now a new, empty item. And the page numbers are not updated when selecting Extras->Generate Table Of Contents.

I have cleared the contents of the TOC_FRAME but the same, erroneous content re-appears when I generate the TOC again.

my best hint is not to use the current TOC generator.

you're faster, when you manually update the page numbers and headings in a text frame.

in future, scribus will have a style based TOC generator...

it would not be that hard to create one with the scripter, i guess... but somebody has to do it, and the interest does not seem to be that big...
