Title: Making sure of my PDF/x 1a
Post by: Wena on January 21, 2012, 11:09:24 PM
Converting a file to PDF/x 1a LS recommends that one uses Acrobat Distiller v 6 and up to convert a file to that format. So in Scribus 1.4 I export as an eps file and drop that onto the Distiller and it converts to the required PDF format.

I now wont to verify my files before submission to LS.

I could have done the conversion in Scribus 1.5 but that is on another computer. But I would still need to make sure of the format.

I think there was something about Ghostscript but I have cant find any instruction on that matter.

Help please.

What dose Ghost Script DO. I have surcharged the net but still can find the answer to this question, it might be a missing link to one of my problems in Scribus.
