Title: Page spacing in display
Post by: stanc on December 01, 2011, 04:14:11 AM
Trying to build 6x9" book.  Top of page1 (right) is at 0, bottom is at 9"  but top of pages 2 and 3 appear in dispaly at 23", 14 inches below the bottom of previous page.  Pages 4 & 5 are 14 inches farther down and so on.
Zoom out to 25% to see first three pages of layout. Lots of scrolling.  How do I get the pages to appear closer together.

hello stanc

try menu: 'scribus' → 'preferences' → 'display' → 'general' → 'gaps between pages' → 'vertical'.
change the value from 14" to 0.25" or less...

Thanks!
I don't know how many times I passed right by that.
Now I can move on to more perplexing issues.
