Title: Copying PDF file text and pasting into Scribus
Post by: rickybob on June 14, 2011, 12:24:21 AM
I'm a newbie with scribus although I have used Microsoft Publisher 98 for quite some time. I was considering upgrading to Publisher 2010 but can't justify it since I only use it for a club newsletter and setting up tutorials before changing them to PDFs. I am able to copy and paste text from Adobe Reader to Publisher but can't seem to do it in Scribus. Is there any way to do this?

If you...

1. Copy text
2. Create a text frame in Scribus
3. Double click on the frame
4. Ctrl+V (or Edit > Paste)

this should work.

Alternatively, select text frame > Ctrl+T (to open Story Editor) > Ctrl+V (to paste text).

Thanks Meho,

I only single-clicked in the text frame. It's working fine now.
