Title: Convert global positions in XML to page-relative coordinates
Post by: eudoxos on July 08, 2017, 09:52:06 PM
Hi there, I am processing the SLA file and text frames are positioned globally (XPOS, YPOS, gXpos, gYpos) -- which is something depending on all previous page's dimensions, one/two-sided layout and such. Is there an easy way to convert to page-local coords, or better yet, ask all objects to be saved as page-local in the SLA in the first place? Thanks!

any chance to use (and eventually extend) the scribus scripter instead of processing the .sla file from outside?

imo, tweaking (or generating) .SLA files is a bad idea... except if you first spend some time to create a DTD/schema of the file.
