Title: Embed fonts from embedded PDF
Post by: SirPL on June 10, 2017, 12:01:15 PM
Hello everyone!

I would like to know if is there any way to force scribus to embed fonts that comes from embedded PDFs.

It seems like scribus converts all fonts into curves. The result is just bad. I prepared three examples of the same page generated with: InDesign CS6, Scribus 1.5.3 with 'Embed PDF and EPS' both turned on and off.
Please notice what scribus do with the initial 'S'. Moreover, please notice the height of letters. The problem does not occurs in file produced with InDesign.

EDIT: I did not noticed that I had 'Compress Text and Vector graphics' ticked. But the question about embedding fonts is still valid.

EDIT 2: The result does not depends on 'Compress Text and Vector graphics'.
