Title: Dictionary formatting
Post by: Cooknas on February 19, 2017, 01:07:38 AM
Hi,
I am going to create a typical dictionary formatting, two columns, with the header reporting on the left the first item on the page and on the right the last one.
Has anyone already faced the problem? Can I get some advice about it?

Thank you
Orazio

It won't be easy to do in Scribus unless you want to write all the headings yourself.

It may be possible to script, but I doubt there is an easy way to find the first and last line within a text frame.

May I ask why you want to do this in Scribus and not for example Libre Office Writer or Base?

hi, thank you very much!
\scribus because of exact pagination which a word processor has not. What is Base?
