Post by: mintra on April 13, 2011, 04:20:17 PM
Hi

If I set a character style, within the paragraph styles then I can make it work, I can change the font and type style and colour of the font, can I change the font background colour for the paragraph, if so how

After you create your text box, go to the Properties Palette, go to the "Colors" tab, and you can set the fill color from there.

But he did not ask for changing the color of the text box, but for a paragraph.

I don't think it is possible, yet. One reason probably is that it is hard (for the devs) to decide what the height of the color band shall be based on line height and leading. I think it must be user configurable, with selectable values (may be fixed or relative units) for Above baseline and Below baseline.
