Title: PDF Checkbox appearance in Chrome
Post by: Waleb on September 23, 2016, 01:24:36 PM
Hi,

just starting with Scribus, i managed to create a nice litte PDF Form for a small Non-Profit. But I have some trouble with the checkboxes. When I fill out my form in Chrome everything works fine. Even the javascript parts. Except the checkboxes. It doesn't make an X inside, instead it just draws a border around it which is very hard to see so you first think its not checked.

Is it my fault or an error with Chrome? I've seen other PDF forms that use checkboxes work correctly.

Thanks!

hi waleb

what about sharing a sample document (.sla + pdf)?

does your pdf work ok with other viewers?

Hi,

Was this issue fixed at all as I am experiencing the same problem.

I have attached the PDF and the .sla files in question - they work fine in Internet Explorer but on Chrome if I click to tick a checkbox it doesn't fill the space with a tick.

Thank you in advance.
