Title: Blank space between text and border line, left, right and bottom.
Post by: Max on April 28, 2019, 06:30:53 PM
Hi everyone !

I'm Maxime from france.

I love Scribus I use 1.4.6 version on Linux (Ubuntu Mate)

I have a problem with text frames and margin left, right and bottom. When i write in a text frame i have a default blank space between text and border line, left, right and bottom. When i change the height of the block to reduce blanck space, the text disappear.

Exemple images (Font : DajaVu Sans Book, 73 pt) :

It's possible to make this ?

Thanks :)

hi max

the free space below the text is used for characters like 'g', 'p'.
on the left and right side it might be a part of the font design. as my quick test shows, some fonts will even overlap the text frame – and a simple exchange of the first character in your example brought 'dejavu' to the border...
