Hi everyone!
As a Linux user, I have taken the icc profiles for my Epson Stylus SX445W from its OS X and Windows driver installers.
When I put both icc profiles (70.3 KB each) in ~/.color/icc/, Scribus does not show any of them in the "Preferences -> Color Management -> Printer" pop-up menu. I use Scribus 1.4.5, but I've also tried out 1.5.6.
However, I have a smaller monitor icc profile taken also from Windows (8.5 KB). When this file is in ~/.color/icc/ I get an "Epson RGB" profile in the RGB pop-up menus. But, if I move it out from the folder the menu entry disappears, so it's not a problem of Scribus not detecting the ~/.color/icc/ folder.
What can I do to make Scribus recognize the printer icc profiles?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I am in exactly the same situation.
* Linux
* Epson XP-860
* ICC files from Windows
Are not recognized... did you find a way to solve this?
No, not yet.
Does anyone know how to solve this?
this might be the wrong question, does it work when printing to a .PDF?

It's not related to print-time, but to general print settings. In "Preferences -> Color Management -> Printer" you should theoretically be able to select whatever printer profiles you have installed in your system. In my case, as I say in OP, I put my manually installed ones in ~/.color/icc/, where allegedly Scribus looks for them. It looks like Scribus seems to honor the icc profiles I put in there, except for the specific printer ones.
