Title: creating pdf with security
Post by: philtroy on February 11, 2018, 07:49:57 AM
Hi

I posted a message March 2017 about getting javascript to run in the pdf when there was and wasn't a password.  The problem still exists.  When you add a password to a .pdf file the open document javascript results in an error - when there is no password everything works fine.  I really scribus, but I really need password security.  At the time I attached files to demonstrate the issue.

Please help!

Thanks . . .

Phil

Hi,

I committed a fix for your issue yesterday in both 1.4.x and 1.5.x branches. The reason for your issue was tough to find. At this moment I can not provide you new snapshots for testing unfortunately, Sourceforge upload servers are currently down.

New 1.4.7.svn snapshots with that fix are now available on sourceforge:
