Title: sharing styles in a workgroup
Post by: georgschuetz on February 11, 2012, 02:19:40 PM
Hi,
we would like to use Scribus in a small workgroup (5 people). We do have today something like a "style guideline" for the documents done in Open/LibreOffice and i would like to transfer this to Scribus too.

I read about importing styles to a document. Do you have some hints for me how to implement a kind of "sytle library" which should be there when opening a new document

Thanks
Georg

Shouldn't be hard to do.  Use your text frame.  You can either right click and do 'get test' to import or go into 'edit text' frame and at the top use your file tab, go down to 'load from file' and import it.  Either way I don't think you'll have a problem.

I do have problems in importing any form of stile, indent, italics, bold, underline, font and font size.

I a very interested in this thread.

I used to be able to import up to a month ago italecs, bold and others by using such as Ctrl+i and Ctrl+b from OpenOffice.
