Title: PDF Form Store Signage with Preconfigured Icons
Post by: manateemilitia on August 07, 2012, 04:45:41 PM
I work at a garden center and am using a PDF form to make a template for plant signage (common name, botanical name, description, price - this all works well).

What I would like to do is have a section on the sign that has a set of icons for different plant attributes (drought tolerance, butterfly attractant, etc). I want to have it done in a way that any other employee can quickly design and print a sign, but I don't know if there's some way to insert an icon into the form (a drop down menu or checkbox or something) that doesn't require actually going into scribus.

Thanks

i would probably go for a web form with a print css that prints well on your local printer...

a pdf does not look like the best fit for what you want to do :-)
