Title: Ligatures PDF export
Post by: benberlin on July 02, 2018, 12:03:55 PM
Hey there,

I noticed that scribus has ligatures. When I export a file with f.e. https://scribus.net and want to copy that adress out of the document it copies "h-8ps". Is there a way to export pdf without ligatures but keep them inside the document?

Scribus does not automatically turn URLs into clickable links, this is likely done by your PDF viewer.

In Scribus you will need to manually create a PDF annotation on top of the text, and for that annotation you enter the URL separately.

So the document can display https://www.scribus.net but when clicking on it you reach https://www.google.com.
