Title: spell checker in text editor not working, Version 1.4.3, Ubuntu 12.04
Post by: wgregori on March 11, 2014, 07:04:57 PM
I see that the spell checker is available in the text editor window but it doesn't appear to be working. I've checked in preferences and see that a number of dictionaries have been installed.  Has anyone else experienced this issue... I've got scribus setup on 3 computers and it's the same situation.

Thanks,
Wayne

Using on Win7

Scribus Version 1.4.5
26 January 2015
Build ID: C-*-T-*-C1.8.6-Windows-64bit
Using Ghostscript version 9.16

I love Scribus, but sadly Spell check not working in this latest stable version. :-(

First, the most stable version of Scribus is 1.4.5 (make sure that you have that installed)
Then test the issue again. if it persists: please check bugs.scribus.net to see if there is an open issue that reflects your problem? If not, please then report this issue. Please state the OS/OS Version/Scribus version and steps to reproduce the issue.
Thanks!
