Title: Bug reports
Post by: jajhall on February 11, 2016, 10:26:58 PM
Dear Scribus-world

I've got a pretty poor-looking bug with Scribus. Where can I post it so I can be told what I think is a bug isn't and what I've done wrong; told how to get round it or get it fixed?

Thanks!

hi jajhall

as a first step you could post it here with example .sla and .pdf files (depending on the issue under pdf generation (http://forums.scribus.net/index.php/board,8.0.html), text and tpography (http://forums.scribus.net/index.php/board,6.0.html), raster and vector graphics (http://forums.scribus.net/index.php/board,9.0.html)...)
and if it's really a bug, you should file a report on the bug tracker. (http://bugs.scribus.net/)

Thanks, but I've managed to deduce why it isn't a bug - some text disappeared when I changed font because it then just overflowed the background of its box.
