Title: Vector graphic with boundaries
Post by: Dogil on May 23, 2016, 10:09:02 AM
Is there a way to have a vector graphic but with a confining box like the pixel graphics?

sadly, no...
(not because of the surrounding box, but for limiting the colors pollution that happens when you import a complex svg...)

... but it's not that hard to draw a rectangle around a shape :-)

Dogil, if you're desperate you can try exporting the SVG from something like Inkscape (using Save As, in this case) to an EPS and then putting the EPS in an image frame. It's not really recommended - SVG import is much better - but it works for most vector graphics except those that use complex filters/features. (I have no idea how long this feature will be continue to be supported.)
