Title: corrective Style distance/ alignment only without changing anything else
Post by: Caric on April 15, 2019, 01:24:24 PM
Hello!
I have exiting paragraphs with multiple font types and sizes. I need to edit many of these and I noticed that the line spacing it too tight. I created a corrective style and want to implement this to the lines but not have it change anything else. Is this possible to do?

thank so much!
Doug

Hello
I don't know how to set a style and just have it update the spacing and not change the font, font size or anything else
If you could walk me through the settings thang would be great
Thanks for your response

no, if you  have not set yet the styles, that won't work.

applying the styles will (mostly?) overwrite the current formatting.

what you can do: use the find and replace dialog to change the formatting... but you will have to do it for each frame (or chain of frames, i guess).

that's a restriction in scribus: if you have not started with styles, it's a bit too hard to introduce them at a later time.
