Title: resizing image to frame with correct resolution?
Post by: Hummusrecipesneeded on May 18, 2019, 02:31:15 AM
So this is probably very simple but I'm struggling to get exactly what i want.

Ive inserted a jpeg with 300dppi, and a width height dimension of 1500X2100, so when i eventually print my photos are expected to print at 5x7.

when i add image, it doesn't fit inside the entire image box, so i adjust image to frame, and there is a small margin at the bottom that is not filled as you can see with he first attachment.

then, i go to properties and uncheck the "proportional" button , and the image fits. But now its resolution is slightly lower, and the image is distorted. It shouldn't be this way because the image was exported and sized for a 5x7 image size. my image frame is is a little smaller than that even.

how can i fix this?

thank you

I have a feeling you adjusting things the wrong way.

Why don't you adjust the image frame to the image instead of adjusting the image to the image frame?
